Patrick's Stary-Berry Shortcake Pie

The iconic SpongeBob television series premiered on Nickelodeon in 1999.

Patrick Star debuted as his sidekick and the rest is history. It took 22 years after the series initial launch for Patrick to get his own spin-off show in 2021. We always knew Patrick was a star. The Patrick Star Show premiered on Nickelodeon on July 9, 2021.

Now, he's getting more shine than ever with the release of his own Patrick-themed pie at Burger King to help promote the upcoming new SpongeBob movie released December 19, 2025 in theaters.

StarBerry Shortcake Pie 

Burger King's "Patrick's Star-Berry Shortcake Pie" is a menu item you can purchase alone or as a apart of a bundle.

It appears to have had the most effort put into it apart from the other menu items related to thos particular promotion partnership. The "SpongeBob’s Krabby Whopper" is nothing more than. A regular cheese whopper with a yellow dyed square shaped bun. The "Pirate’s Frozen Pineapple Float" was merely a pineapple Fanta in slushy form with piña colada-flavored cold foam. "Mr. Krabs’s Cheesy Bacon Tots" are just tater tots filled with cheese and bacon bits. Arguably, all of these items could be made at home with regular ingredients.

Patrick's Pie however is the real treat! Served with strawberry and vanilla cream layers on a crunchy cookie crumb crust, topped with shortcake cookie crumbles and pink star-shaped sprinkles. The sugary delight contains 260 calories, 12 grams of fat and 35 grams of carbohydrates. At just $3 a slice, the Pie is a alternate to BK's regular menu option, the Hershey’s Sundae Pie.

In some select locations such as Latin American markets, including Mexico and Colombia, there is also "Patrick's Super King Sundae". No word on why other locations didn't get the sundae.

Patrick’s Sundae features vanilla ice cream with two servings of cookie crumble topped with strawberry syrup.

All items on the special SpongeBob menu, including Patrick's Pie and Sundae, are allegedly free of preservatives and artificial colors, as is the food in the lunchbox.
